How to request deletion

Choose either method below. We process verified requests and confirm completion by email.

1. 1From inside the app (fastest): Sign in, open Settings → Account deletion, and follow the on-screen confirmation. You will be asked to type DELETE to confirm.
2. 2By email request: Send an email with the subject line “Account Deletion Request” from the email address registered to your Bubbs Kitchen account. Include your account email so we can verify ownership.
3. 3Via Report a Problem: Signed-in users can submit a report under Settings → Report a problem with the category “Account” and the request “Delete my account and data.”

We verify that the requester owns the account before deleting it. Requests that cannot be verified may be declined or asked for additional confirmation.

Data that is deleted

Once your deletion request is verified and processed, we delete the following data associated with your account, generally within 30 days:

• Account profile (username, photo, birthdate, bio)
• Saved recipes, favorites, and personal collections
• Recipe ratings and recently viewed history
• Shopping list items and ingredient lists
• Dosage calculation history
• AI Chef conversation history
• Reports you have submitted
• Account email and sign-in credentials

Data that may be kept

Some information may be retained where required by law or for legitimate business purposes:

• Records of transactions, payments, and billing for legal, tax, and accounting obligations (retained as required by applicable law, typically up to 7 years).
• Fraud-prevention and security logs needed to protect the service and other users.
• Aggregated, de-identified analytics that cannot be linked back to you.
• Content you contributed to shared, public recipes where deletion would affect other users’ saved data (your authorship identifier is anonymized).

Retention period

We complete verified deletion requests within 30 days. Data that must be retained for legal, tax, or regulatory reasons is kept only for the period required by applicable law and then permanently deleted. Subscription and billing records are retained per the retention period above.
